PRE & POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Lash extensions:

  • Must remove lash extensions two weeks prior to appointment.
  • Must wait three weeks after appointment before putting back on.

Latisses or any lash serum:

  • Must be off eyelash serum’s eight weeks before any tattooing can be done.
  • Must wait six weeks after appointment before starting serum again.

PRE-CARE FOR Eyeliner procedure

  • DO NOT consume any alcohol beverages , CAFFEINE OR TAKE ANY BLOOD THINNERS 24 HOURS before the scheduled appointment. This will prevent any excess bleeding, oozing, and minimizes swelling during the procedure.
  • DO NOT take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 24 hrs. prior to your procedure. Tylenol is fine.
  • DO NOT work out on the day of your procedure.
  • AVOID sun and tanning one week prior to your procedure.
  • Discontinue Glycolic, Retina-A or Retinol products 4 weeks before the scheduled appointment.
  • DO NOT use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area 2 weeks prior to and after your procedure.
  • If you have had any cosmetic surgical procedures done on the eye area, please wait 2 months to fully heal prior to the eyeliner tattoo
  • If there are any open wounds, pimples, bruises, or any other skin irritations on the area; please wait for them to be healed completely before attending the scheduled appointment. Please contact us immediately if rescheduling is necessary due to this matter.
  • No facials or chemical peels a week prior to the scheduled appointment.
  • Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Eyeliner permanent make up after care.

Day 1 ( Day of the procedure)

  • Do not touch the eyes. Before bed you can ice the eyes by applying it over a clean cloth.
  • Do not apply ice directly on skin
  • Do not wash the eyes, try to keep them dry
  • If the eyes are swollen you may take a Tylenol.

Day 2

  • The eyes may be swell the next day after the procedure, it is a normal reaction, some clients swell more than others. The swelling should start going down during this day and eyes should be looking better by the end of the second day.

Day 3 -4

  • If the skin feel very dry by day 3 you can apply a very thin layer of aftercare healing ointment. Do not apply too much to avoid adverse reactions. Wash your hands before applying ointment.

**During day 1 to day 7 or even longer (until the scabs are gone) AVOID water, make up, excessive sweating, no sauna, no pools,
No Sunbathing, do not PEEL the scabs at all (you may cause scarring if otherwise)
**Do not apply anything besides Aquaphor ointment such as Vaseline, antibiotic cream, Neosporin etc. Grapeseed oil maybe used to substitute Aquaphor.

**During 4 weeks after the procedure is best to not use creams that contains acid or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.

**The touch up is best to be done 5-8 weeks later.
